MANA MUSIC SUPERVISE 'THE MOTHER OF ROCK'!

Mana Music has begun work on a new documentary that profiles one of Australia's most influential music writers, Lillian Roxon.

Lillian lived and worked in New York City in the late 60s and was known as The Queen Bee of legendary nightclub/ performance venue/ Warhol hangout Max's Kansas City. During this time she was instrumental in ushering in the birth of punk music and raising the profile of many artist who now enjoy legendary status.

She was one of the first people to write seriously about rock music, completing the first 'Rock Encyclopedia' in 1969.
